Visitsweden.com is part of Sweden.se - the official portal for general information about Sweden. VisitSweden is one of five Swedish organizations with overall responsibility for providing information about Sweden to other countries. The other organisations are Invest in Sweden Agency, the Swedish Government Offices including the Foreign Ministry, the Swedish Institute and the Swedish Trade Council.
Visitsweden.com is built on Swedish technology with the content management system EPiServer. It is developed and tested for Microsoft Explorer and the Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Privacy is a concern to most Internet users. VisitSweden is aware of, and sensitive to, the privacy concerns of our customers. VisitSweden collects information about users in three ways:

Each time a visitor enters visitsweden.com/zweden information is collected about your domain name / IP address, referring URL, browser and platform, time of visit, pages visited and searches performed.

Use of pixel tracking (non-personal data)

In general, VisitSweden only collects personal information when you register for a newsletter, sms-service, order brochures or participate in competitions in order to provide you with the service ordered.

From time-to-time we may request information via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you always have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Survey information will be used to monitor or improve this website, and to improve our customer service.
