Skåne Fun and exciting camping holidays

Fun and exciting camping holidays

Skåne offers visitors a fantastic choice of camping locations, so whether you fancy a bit of coastal or inland camping, you’ll find your perfect spot on a Skåne camping break.

When it comes to a good camping holiday, variety is key. Why settle for a boring field when you can camp in woodland, on a cliff top, by a lake or on an island? Skåne offers visitors a fantastic choice of camping locations, so whether you fancy a bit of coastal or inland camping, you’ll find your perfect spot on a Skåne camping break.

If you’re after breathtaking views and dramatic scenery, Skåne’s coastal campsites are a stunning place to stay. First camp Mölle is located on the very tip of a peninsula on the northwest coast of Skåne, making it a great spot for coastal camping. As it’s in the beautiful Kullerberg nature reserve you’ll enjoy more than just sea views, as there’s exceptional countryside everywhere you turn. Camp here and you can take your pick from 240 pitches, plus, there’s a climbing wall, diving centre and cycle hire.  Also in northwest Skåne is First Camp Torekov, another popular coastal campsite. It boasts stunning sea views out towards the island of Hallands Väderö and, for a truly memorable activity holiday, you can go on a seal safari from the old fishing village of Torekov.

If you want your adventure holiday to be a bit more, well adventurous, why not forget campsites all together? Skåne is full of woodland, grassland and lakesides that make excellent camping spots.  Thanks to the ancient Swedish right to roam, as long as you respect crops and woodland, and camp away from inhabited buildings, you can set up camp anywhere in the Skåne countryside. You can even light a campfire as long as the area isn’t too dry and there’s no risk of the fire spreading.

So for a camping holiday with a difference, make your way out into the Skåne countryside and enjoy some true peace and quiet.
