No L-plates here. Crystal chandeliers, handsome staff and a Formula 1-style chef is what you get at Wasa Allé. Chef Mats Nordström has his hands firmly at the wheel and drives you to dramatic taste experiences. The daring four, five or six course tasting menus all challenge your senses with bold combinations. The desserts are a case in point: salty, sour and sweet balance perfectly on a high wire in the breathtaking ‘cheese dessert’ of goat’s cheese mousse with carrot biscuit, salty sour meringue and a liquorice granité on a carrot reduction. Shocking. Joyous. And entirely memor-able. But not for the faint hearted (or sweet toothed).
