Lidingö Golf Club

Place

No. of Holes: 18
Par: 70
Length: 5370m
Type of Course: Just 10 minutes from the centre of the Stockholm is Lidingö Golf Club, Sweden’s oldest 18-hole golf course.
But the par-70 course at Lidingö Golf Club doesn’t show its age as it was given a challenging new layout and design by renowned course architect Peter Chamberlain in 2009.
A course for kings
Play in the footsteps of the great Arnold Palmer; ‘the King’ played here in 1968, already with a handful of majors under his belt.
We’re sure ‘Arnie’ would love the new championship parkland course. The tree-lined, rolling fairways and tricky doglegs, carve their way though the exclusive island suburb of Lidingö. Expect to negotiate hard, fast greens and water hazards on half of the holes here.
The course will test you, the setting will impress you – so what more could you want?
Accommodation: There are several hotels within 5 minutes’ of the golf course.
Restaurant: The club’s newly renovated restaurant offers high-class breakfast, lunch and dinner – and an ideal 19th hole.
