Beautifully appointed Häringe Palace, just outside Stockholm sits on a peninsula that fringes the Stockholm archipelago. As hotel locations go, Häringe Palace is hard to beat. Häringe Palace has been owned by the Ljungberg family since 1999 and they have turned it into an exclusive, stylish stay with the onus on fine cuisine. Executive chef Björn Ericsson and his dedicated team work to the slow food concept that revolves around good, clean and fair food, using mainly seasonal, local produce. Häringe Palace forms the centrepiece of a group of buildings; Kreugers Wing, the West Wing, the East Wing, the Cavaliers’ Wing and the Sea Wing. The names of the rooms, deluxe rooms and suites here are named after some of the famous people who have stayed here including Ivar Kreuger (matchstick magnate) and Jussi Björling (Swedish opera star of the 1950s). All rooms are sumptuously decorated in styles from various epochs and fit beautifully with the hotel environs.
