Ski resort description: What’s just a couple of hours from Stockholm by Ski-bus, boasts a long ski-season from mid-December to Easter, has 20 slopes, 7 lifts, and a vertical drop height of 180 metres? Bjursås of course! Or ‘Dalarna Switzerland’ as they like to call it due to its magnificent peaks and valleys.
Bjursås Skicenter has a 1.3km longest slope, more than 10km of piste area, and contains ‘Soulpark’ - an adventurous skier and snowboarders dream.
Kids can have fun and ski-games at the "Children's Corner" with their very own après-ski entertainment. The rest of us can have fun too… there’s slalom, Nordic-skiing, telemarking, rubber tube sliding, quad-biking and skating.
Tired? Grab a glögg! Or just soak it all in at the Bath & Relaxation Centre in an outdoor hot tub in – 5 C.
