Getting to Sweden by Air
Airlines have cut their prices and introduced new classes of travel to meet the competition - and have made it possible to travel to Sweden much easier from all corners of the globe and for less money than ever.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines, the national carrier, operates connecting flights to major cities in Sweden via Stockholm. Through co-operation with the Star Alliance members, SAS links many parts of the world directly to Sweden.

Air Canada, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, British Midland, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Singapore Airlines, Spanair, THAI, United Airlines and VARIG.
By Air from Europe
SAS joins with all major European air carriers in linking major Swedish cities to the rest of the Continent on a daily basis. Finnair links Sweden to the rest of Europe via Helsinki.
By Air from UK
Sweden has never been more accessible from the UK with 21 direct flights from the UK and a maximum flight time of two and half hours, Sweden has never been more accessible. With SAS and Ryanair you can fly directly to Stockholm and Gothenburg and British Airways flies direct to Stockholm.
By Air from North America
Direct service between the United States and Sweden is operated by SAS in cooperation with United Airlines and other members of Star Alliance. Non-stop services offered from Newark, NJ and Chicago to Stockholm (via Copenhagen from Seattle and Washington, DC).
In addition, Malaysia Airlines and Continental Airlines offer non-stop service to Stockholm from Newark, NJ and US Airways offers non-stop service between Philadelphia, PA and Stockholm.
Most European airlines, Icelandair and Finnair to mention a few, fly to Sweden from North America via connection in Europe.
