April 15th 1912, the Titanic sank claiming the lives of 1495 people. 101 years later, Titanic the Exhibition, with over 200 original authentic objects and reproductions of the inside rooms, takes you on an unforgettable journey to the past.
Titanic The Exhibition features an individual sound system included in the entrance fee, which, with voices, music and sound effects, guides visitors around the exhibition, submerging them in the true history of the Titanic.

A brand new street market every other Saturday, premiere 18th of May. This is a market for everyone who loves nostalgia, second hand goods, antiques and bargains: The sellers are both private citizens and vintage and antique stores. Each market day you will find around 80 sellers.
This summer’s exhibition at Artipelag introduces the American artist William Wegman. He is perhaps best known for his photography of his dressed up Weimeran dogs, the dogs that have raised generations of American children through the children’s television show Sesame Street and which have reached cult status in Wegman’s own movies.
The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk provides an unprecedented look at the designer dubbed fashion’s “enfant terrible” from the time of his first runway shows in the 1970s and who has become one of the most important fashion designers of recent decades.

The opening ceremonies will be held on the Thursday in the village of Södra Möckleby. Then during the next three days - Friday through Sunday, the whole island celebrates its culinary richness.
Many activities run simultaneously over these three days. For instance: a fish festival, square dance shows, cooking competitions, special menus at meny of the island's restaurants. Restaurants, galleries and handicraft boutiques are all open - along with 900 other activities all around Öland.

At Skansen, the Autumn Fair is an annual fixture at which you will meet tavern waitresses, stable-lads, farmers and smallholders bringing this year’s produce to market. The fair is organized by Skansen’s Village Institute and it provides a taste of life at a country fair in the old days. Skansen’s Autumn Fair takes place on the summer meadow by the Skåne Farmstead.
