Music and dance options
The Malmö Opera House hosts international standard opera. Expect to find the great opera classics, musicals and contemporary musical drama on show. There is also a strong offering for children with Operaverkstan producing contemporary performances for youth aged between 3-19.
New Swedish talent
If you are feeling adventurous you can also see new production Swedish operas and musicals. You can also catch a gala night, orchestra and chamber concerts, contemporary dance and classical ballet.
See paintings by Swedish artists such as Carl Milles and Isaac Grünewald in the foyer and have a drink in the bars in the foyer or dinner at the elegant Malmö Opera Grill.
