Traveling to Gotland from Stockholm and the Swedish mainland is very easy. You can travel there either by modern, comfortable, high-speed ferry, or by airplane. The ferry has up to 18 daily departures to and from Visby during the summer. The ferry trip to Gotland from Nynäshamn or Oskarshamn takes about three hours. Flights from Stockholm's Bromma and Arlanda airports take just over half an hour. Airlines also run many routes from other cities during the summer.
