The wedding celebrations will begin on Friday 7 June with a private dinner at Grand Hôtel, Stockholm, for invited guests. The wedding will then take place on 8 June at 4pm (CET) in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
After the wedding, a 21-gun salute will be fired from Skeppsholmen. The bride and groom will be taken by horse and carriage from the Royal Palace of Stockholm to Riddarholmen. Map of the cortège route
Madeleine, Princess of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, was born on 10 June 1982 at Drottningholm Palace and is the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Sweden.
Mr Christopher O'Neill was born on 27 June 1974 in London, where he grew up with his parents, Eva Maria and Paul O'Neill. He has dual US and UK citizenship, and has five half-sisters: Tatjana, Natascha, Stephanie, Annalisa and Karen.
