Norrbyskär is a group of 22 small islands where, at the end of the 19th century, an attempt was made at creating an ideal, modern society based around Europe’s largest steam sawmill. The buildings, cottages and shops are just as they were when the last worker left. This is a very special place, with a unique history and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, including a seal safari.
