Fyrishov

Fyrishov is a giant recreation centre, the biggest of its type in Sweden, with holiday cottage and camping accommodation on the banks of the Fyris river that flows through Uppsala. It is a short bus ride from the city, or a brisk walk.
Fyrishov has a water park and adventure swimming complex with waterfalls, hot whirlpools, jet steam, water slides and water canons. Which is very good news for the younger members of your family. And good news for you too as Fyrishov Stugby and Camping (holiday chalet accommodation) lies side-by-side the centre and is an ideal base for getting out and about in the city and the surrounding countryside. The summertime activities at Fyrishov include pools, canoeing, beach volleyball, street basket and miniature golf; plenty to keep you and the family busy and entertained.
Fyrishov also has a great restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Uppsala’s no. 1 visitor attraction, also puts on fairs, sports events, concerts and events the year-round and is open every day of the year.
