Gotland is situated 90 km from the Swedish mainland. Gotland is becoming increasingly appreciated by visitors from all over the world. It has never been easier to travel to Gotland. You can travel to Gotland by ferry (Destination Gotland), airplane or across the sea to Gotland in your own boat. The ferries traffics Nynäshamn-Visby and Oskarshamn-Visby.

Öland is an island that offers many interesting excursion goals, natural experiences and sights worth seeing. The island is easily reached by car driving one of Europe's longest bridges,  but you can also take the car and passenger ferry M/S Solsund, which runs between Oskarshamn and Byxelkrok (summertime only). Enjoy the two-hours and twenty minutes trip on Kalmar Sound. Food is available.
