Österlen art

For art lovers and culture vultures Easter-time is a fabulous time to come to Österlen – spring is in the air and there is artists’ work everywhere on the Österlen Art Circuit.
The Österlen Art Circuit is all about meeting artists in their studios and asking them about their work.
Art galleries, both public and private around Österlen also put on shows for the many local artists working in oils, water colours, glass, precious metals, ceramics, wood and other materials, as well as computer art.

Getting around

The best way to do the art circuit is by car, with a map at your side. Österlen is famous for its rolling countryside, beautiful coastline, regional cuisine and culture.
Places to circle on your map should include Kivik, Simrishamn and Åhus that hug the south east coast, and drive inland for Kristianstad and Tomelilla in the middle of the province. Also head south for the beautiful town of Ystad of ‘Inspector Wallander’ fame. For contact details of the tourist information offices in these towns go here
