Karlshamns Golf Club in Southern Sweden

Karlshamns Golf Club in Southern Sweden

No. of Holes: 36
Par: 72/70
Length: 5832m, 5144m
Type of Course: There are two 18-hole courses here at Karlshamns GK; the New course and the Old course. Both are set in rolling pine and deciduous forest; posing a woodland golf challenge. The Old course, designed by legendary Scottish course architect Douglas Frasier, is more open and perhaps more generous than the New course, but don’t let the gorgeous layout and natural setting lull you into complacency, this is a fully-fledged golfing challenge. The New course opened in two stages, with the final nine opening for play in 2004. This is a more technical test than the Old course, with tight fairways and more challenging greens. If you can’t choose which course to play – why not play both.
Accommodation: The club partners with many of the hotels in nearby Karlshamn town.
Restaurant: The restaurant here serves mostly well-made and tasty Swedish homely fare for hungry golfers.
