Boutique hotel restaurant & terrace
Eye-candy on the plate and at the table. With its seriously cosmopolitan atmosphere, it’s all gossip and gloss at the Lydmar Hotel. Daniel Craig and his entourage were frequent visitors to this successful boutique hotel and its restaurant in autumn 2010, during the filming of the first of the international versions of the Millennium Trilogy films. The kitchen also delivers a well-executed international repertoire; moules frites, beef tartare, rillettes, pepper steak. And they do a decent cheeseburger. Classics with a slight twist? Braised ox cheek with smoked -marrow and truffle potato purée is quite simply brilliant, as is the risotto flavoured with roasted olives. The bar here is one of the best in the city to sip on champagne or cocktails.
