Fun dining – Swedish cuisine
Deluxe Swedish home cooking. This is husmanskost – traditional Swedish food – made with the finest and sometimes most luxurious of raw ingredients by Anders Vendel, a quality-conscious chef with outright perfectionistic tendencies. The traditional Swedish husmans-kost dishes of Wallenbergare veal burger and stuffed cabbage rolls are home cooking-style menu staples. Well-hung meat cuts rest in a large illuminated meat display cabinet at the back of the dining room; graded by how many weeks they have been hanging. The roasted bone marrow is so good that you feel like ordering more during the meal. The vintage pickled Matjes, sweet pickled herring, with Anya potatoes is also something of a signature dish. Honest food, cooked with precision. As good as it gets.
