Fun, fine dining. At F12, you get entertainment on the plate, in the glass and through the trend setting dining room. F12 has that easy and appealingly elegant gestalt factor. Not surprising considering F12 was Stockholm’s first restaurant to prove that fine dining is not all stiff upper lips and starched linen. Begin with a cavalcade of degustation wines from one of the world’s best -sommeliers, Sören Polonius. Then enjoy head chef Danyel Couet’s prized northern Swedish seasonal produce from -traditional farming techniques. Try the meltingly tender slow-cooked deer calf with caramelised cabbage, a crust of juniper berry and hops. Or the dumplings; open, on pumpkin and ox marrow with an umami-replete crème of schnapps infused cheese (bränn-vinsost), in a northern Swedish forest dashi.
