No. of Holes: 18+18+9
Length: Masters Course 6240m, Donald Steel Course 5650m, Litorina Course 1964m
Type of Course: The Masters Course at the Barsebäck Golf & Country Club on Sweden’s south west coast has hosted 13 European Tour events and the Solheim Cup in 2003. It is one very good golf course and ranks as one of the best in Europe. Even from the yellow tees this par 73 plays long. And with its Penn A4 greens surrounded by majestic pines in the woodlands part of the course, along with holes that play along the Öresund Strait, it will challenge every part of your game. The signature holes are the 8th and the 17th. The parkland and seaside terrain make for a wonderful layout and the course is, as you would expect, beautifully maintained.
The 18-hole par 71 Donald Steel course at Barsebäck is a championship course named after the course architect. It interplays tight, wooded holes, open fairway and water hazards. If you don’t book and the Masters Course is busy, this course will not disappoint you. Along with these two championship courses, Barsebäck also has the par 27 nine-holer Litorina course.
