Covering 430 acres you can visit the famous Rock Garden, the Japanese Glade, the Palm House, Rhododendron Valley and the Greenhouse, that houses 4,500 plants and cultivars and around 1,600 impossibly beautiful orchids.If you would like to rest your legs before taking in the other wonders of the garden Botaniska Paviljongen restaurant serves lunch, as well as refreshments. An absolute must when you visit is the Easter Island Tree. It was cultivated from seeds collected by Thor Heyerdahl in the 1950s. It is the last of its kind and there are no trees left on Easter Island. Come to the garden to see its yellow flowers bloom in the spring.
