Swedish celebrities, suppliers such as SAS, Volvo and Carlson, and many others will join hands to tout their favorite things about our “home country” in an exhibition that runs at the House of Sweden in Washington DC 18 Dec 08 - 4 Feb this year.
The main exhibit of the Discover Sweden theme brings you closer to Swedish design, authenticity and style - you’ll fall in love with the country and the people of Sweden!
Come and learn more about Sweden’s culture, history, food, design, nature and city life. Various partners in this project have chosen their favorite things about their “home country” to represent our open, honest, modern and beautiful country. Famous Swedes such as golf pro Annika Sörenstam, designer Efva Attling, Chef Tina Nordström welcome you to see what they like best about their Home Country.
Swedish design is famous around the world for marrying form and function in furniture, interior decoration, clothes and household objects.
