A family vacation in Sweden is a joyously relaxing, low-key affair with activities for the whole family; skiing, cycling, berry picking, swimming in crystal-clear lakes, horse riding, canoeing and more.
Take a bus in Sweden and you’ll see the sign on the door “children first”, or on the window of a restaurant: “children welcome” or “kids’ menu”. In the cities and towns of Sweden there is always a throng of prams and push chairs with attendant “caffe latte” mums and dads, as they are known in Sweden. This is a very child-friendly country and the entire family can discover Sweden – together. The castles, summer and winter resorts, theme parks, zoos and outdoor activities in Sweden all cater to the interests and needs of the whole family.
Most stores and banks in Sweden have toys for children to play with while you are spending your money and all buses and trains have compartments for prams and push chairs.
