Nightlife scene

Malmö is also a party town, having witnessed an explosion in the nightlife scene in recent years.

Many popular restaurants have expanded their premises to include cocktail lounges which turn into nightclubs later in the evening, remaining open till 3 am. Many of the hot night spots are located around Lilla Torg square, which in summer is one big outdoor restaurant and party precinct. Bodoni is a wildly popular club, attracting radically different crowds depending on the night of the week.

Slakthuset (”The Slaughterhouse”) has Scandinavia´s largest dance floor. Centiliter & gram is a small, intimate club that is always packed after 2 am. Classic Etage on Stortorget square is a large, two storey club which nobody admits going to, but which is always full. There are many more, with the party continuing pretty much seven nights a week.
