Located by the Linné area, the vast and beautiful Slottsskogen park, a fairly lengthy walk or a quick tram ride from the city centre, is the city’s most popular green oasis and recreation area. There is plenty of space under the old oaks and on the rolling green hills for a picnic or a game of football or why not frisbee golf. Slottsskogen is also a favourite place for joggers and inline skaters. There are also several cafés and a popular restaurant, as well as zoo and theme park with Nordic animals.
