Kiruna Snow Festival
In the end of january each year the Snow festival takes place in Kiruna. During Wednesday to Saturday the Snow Sculpting Competion will be held. The competition this year have the status as Open Swedish Championship. The grande snow event is another kind of snowevent in another kind of city. Kiruna, the wellknown Wintercity, have found an own niche. During the festival week there are many attractions in the sparkling arctic winter.

Gothenburg Film Festival
Gothenburg Film Festival is the major film event in Scandinavia. Every year the Festival screens more than 500 films from all over the world. All international films are screened after invitation by the selection committee and have their Swedish premieres in Gothenburg.
